What You’ll Do

As the Apparel Production Coordinator, you’ll manage and oversee all aspects of the production cycle, working closely with customers, vendors, factories and internal teams to deliver exceptional products on schedule. This role requires a strong understanding of apparel production and exceptional communication skills in both English and Chinese to collaborate effectively with international partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with customers and overseas factories to finalize designs, negotiate costs, and confirm production details.
2. Develop and manage production calendars (T&A reports), ensuring deadlines are met and potential delays are proactively addressed.
3. Review tech packs and purchase orders for accuracy before forwarding to overseas offices/factories.
4. Review production samples—fabric, lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and accessories—for quality and compliance.
5. Enter and maintain production data, including orders, inventory, and shipping details, within internal systems.
6. Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding production updates, shipping status, and delivery timelines.
7. Collaborate with overseas partners to resolve production issues and maintain clear, consistent communication.
8. Coordinate with internal logistics and warehouse teams to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
9. Have knowledge of lab testing requirements and reports. 
10. Track and verify shipping reports, invoices, and courier deliveries to maintain organized records.
11. Participate in pre-production and production meetings, providing detailed reports and updates.
12. Support management and perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Education: AA or BS/BA degree in a relevant field.
2. Experience: Prior experience in apparel production, ideally with woven and knitwear categories.
3. Working knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment testing requirements.
4. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
5. Must be fluent in spoken Chinese and English to effectively communicate with overseas factories and suppliers.
6. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
7. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

What We’re Looking For

This person will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of production, including costing, product development, scheduling, T&A management, production process, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating Production

- Costing and Product Development: Collaborate with customers and factories to finalize product designs and costs.

- Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules (T&A reports) to track production progress, identify potential delays and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

- Tech Packs and Purchase Orders: Review and verify technical packages and purchase orders to ensure accuracy before transferring to the overseas offices/factories.

- Production Samples: Review and approve production samples, including fabric, lab dips, strike-offs, accessories, trims, and layout.

- Data Entry: Accurately enter production data, including orders, inventory, and shipping information, into company systems.

Communication and Collaboration

- Customer Communication: Serve as primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and concerns regarding production, shipping, and delivery.

- Overseas Office and Factory Communication: Coordinate with overseas offices and factories to ensure smooth production, resolve issues, and communicate updates to customers.

- Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams and logistic department to ensure seamless communication and deliveries.

Managing Quality Control and Inspections

- Lab Tests and Final Goods Inspections: Coordinate and manage lab tests for fabrics, garments, and final goods inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes to identify potential issues or delays and take corrective action as needed.

Shipping and Logistics

- Shipping & documentation: Prepare and manage shipping reports to track shipments and ensure timely delivery. Verify shipping invoices and invoices for customers to ensure accuracy

- Courier Management: Prepare and track couriers, including opening packages and verifying contents.

Additional Responsibilities

- Attend Meetings: Attend pre-production and production meetings, as well as prepare required reports.

We are apparel brand building premium product with strong retail momentum. We’re looking for an in-office Apparel Production Manager who can own day-to-day production, keep timelines tight, protect quality, and help scale our operation the right way.

This role is hands-on. You’ll work directly with our cross-functional team to take styles from development → bulk → delivery across domestic and overseas partners.

What You’ll Do

• Own the production calendar and keep all styles on track from proto to bulk delivery
• Manage vendor/factory communication, WIP tracking, and PO follow-through
• Drive sample approvals (SMS/PP/TOP) and ensure specs, fit, and quality are consistent
• Catch issues early and solve problems fast (delays, materials, construction, QC)
• Support costing and margin goals by tracking COGS and preventing surprises
• Partner closely with design, tech, and logistics to deliver clean, on-time shipments

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years experience in apparel production (brand-side preferred)
• Strong knowledge of knits + wovens, fabrications, trims, and construction
• Strong understanding of the production process and timelines
